LCLC Comfort Dog Ministry is here! God has a plan for the comfort dog ministry at Living Christ. If you want to be a part of this exciting ministry, please contact Pastor Paul or Becky through the church office.
Twelve people have been trained to be dog handlers and to commit to taking JoJo out to work at least twice a month. Six have been trained to be care givers for JoJo when her primary care givers are unavailable.
We are working on plans to raise the necessary funding to support this ministry.
JoJo is already making regular visits to area nursing homes, church events, community events, and has become a regular at the local Panera Bread store. She has been to Joplin, Missouri where she provided comfort and support to families after the devastating tornados.
You are welcome to accompany JoJo with Pastor Paul or Becky anytime. You can follow JoJo's daily activities on her facebook page "JoJo Comfort dog"

JoJo Goes to School
When parents and students arrived at St. Peter Lutheran School in Arlington Heights on Wednesday they were greeted by a special guest. Comfort Dog JoJo who came to visit and share in “JoJo Tales” storytimes for about 100 children (preschool through grade1), She also worked with some kindergarten friends who earned special awards in their class.
JoJo is pictured with some of her new “collectable” JoJo bookmarks. We have developed 12 different bookmarks, which have her photo, Bible verse, and a different JoJo trivia fact and picture. Every time our St. Peter students come to visit JoJo for any reason, they will be given a different one of these bookmarks until they have the whole series. The trivia facts include her birthdate, favorite restaurant, how much she weighs, where she was born, info on the # of her siblings, her home church, her favorite toy, her blog & Facebook address, how much food she eats every day, where she lives, etc.
