Iron Workers (Study Groups for Men)

As Iron Sharpens Iron, so One Man Sharpens Another. Proverbs 27:17

Twice a week there are opportunities for men to meet in the study of God's Word over a good cup of coffee or a full breakfast, if you prefer.

On Thursday mornings at 6:00 AM a group of men meet at the Up-Town Cafe in downtown Arlington Heights for breakfast and Bible study. This group is currently working through a study of John's Letters, 1st John, 2nd John and 3rd John. When we strip away what is superficial, cultural or traditional, we reveal the essence of genuine Christianity which helps us focus our attention on what really matters- both now and for eternity.

On Saturday mornings at 8:00 AM a second group meets in the church fellowship hall for coffee and donuts. This group is Studying the Book of "James"

We all want faith that won’t let us down in times of trouble or loss, uncertainty or fear. A faith that can pull us through the worst--- and best---times in our lives. This is the kind of faith that James writes about. It is the faith that we practice day by day. Studying James will help us grow a steadfast faith that can carry us through life.
Whether you choose a full breakfast or just a good cup of coffee, "Living Water" is always served.
